Life is full of uncertainty.
Sometimes things seem to go our way. Other times, nothing happens as we hoped.
Over the years, we have learned that most things are temporary: successes and failures, cities and people, plans and expectations.
We are two architects and designers who, after many years of working in Tehran, now live and work in Madrid.
We do not know where life will take us tomorrow; just as we never knew how it would bring us here.
But through all these years, we have learned one thing: the value of small joys and small things.
We believe it is these small things that help us endure, begin again, and keep going.
"things" is a collection of small things we design, make, find, use, and live with.
Most of our things will evolve over time. Materials may change, details may be refined, and new versions may replace old ones. We do not expect things to remain exactly as they are, and neither do we.
